Your first visit
As you enter the church via the two white doors you will be met with a smile and a welcome. You will be given our welcome pack and monthly information sheet and if the service has started you will be shown to a seat, so don’t worry if you have arrived late.
Fellowship time
If the service has not started, you will meet friendly people who will also be glad to welcome you and have a chat.
Our services
We seek to praise God and sense His presence at work, therefore our meeting starts off with praise. We praise God altogether as one big family. Praise generally is in the form of singing. Our worship team leads us and we use both modern and contemporary songs, in which there will be a variety from quiet to lively. We also find prayers and testimonies are also shared at this time.
During this time our children leave us for their own service. We have pre-school groups and groups for older children.
A communion time will follow praise and worship in which we are reminded of the salvation Jesus has given to us who believe that Jesus is the only way to have sin forgiven.
The final part of our service is a word to encourage, challenge and disciple us to become more like Jesus. We often use PowerPoint and media to help people follow and engage more with the message.
Finally, don’t rush off after the service as it’s not finished yet! If you have time, one or two of our leadership team would love to have a coffee with you.
On the last Sunday of the month, we have a family service which is different to other weeks. This service has an emphasis on faith, fun, food and fellowship. Our children and youth stay with us for the entire service with special children’s worship and stories that are enjoyed by all. Cake and coffee is served at the end of the service.
Finally, dress code
We want you to experience a friendly and welcoming visit, we therefore dress casually smart, but what you wear is not as important to us as who you are. As the poster says on our front door, “God welcomes all sorts and so do we”!
