The big question is why is it important whether or not we believe in the Trinity.
But when the time arrived that was set by God the Father, God sent his Son, born among us of a woman, born under the conditions of the law so that he might redeem those of us who have been kidnapped by the law. Thus we have been set free to experience our rightful heritage. You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, “Papa Father!
Galatians 4:6-7 (The Message)
As I conclude this week on why I believe my God is great it would be summed up by the quotation above.
For me the big question is why is it important whether or not we believe in the Trinity. I would like to suggest to you that I believe the most important reason is because my salvation hangs on the fact of the Trinity. Let me substantiate what I mean.
- This quotation references all three Persons and states that the Father sent the Son and the Holy Spirit too, thus showing that all were divine in nature and sinless.
- It also reveals Jesus was human, born among us of a woman, Why was it important for Jesus to come as a human? If Jesus had not been human, he could not have experienced, as I have been saying this week, all we humans have to go through. How can I talk to a God who has not a clue what it is like to live in a situation the WORLD is facing at the moment.
No rational person would deny that Jesus became a human being. The evidence of Jesus existence is so overwheliming. For further evidence I would ask you to watch the video below on Who Is Jesus:
Christ’s humanity is important because if Christ had not been human he could not have freed us.
Finally I believe inside my life God has place His Spirit which assures me of my salvation and is here on earth to help me. Through this crisis I can know peace and assurance, even though I admit the feelings of sometimes feeling helpless in the current climate. God though reminded me of a quotation He used a long time ago but relevant for Today so let me leave it with you. Be still and know that I am GOD!
