I read this quote which really got me thinking and I hope it does you too.

When you know your ending is better than your beginning, you’ll be able to endure what’s in between.

For followers of Jesus, that quote is so true. The reason that God sent Jesus was to fulfil that quote – now that should give us hope for a better future!

The Bible leaves us in no doubt as to the end of this earth and man’s story. It also informs us of the beginning of earth and man’s story how by one act of disobedience the whole of the human race has suffered. We are thankful that Jesus came to put that right through His sacrificial death on the cross and the subsequent resurrection.

Jesus just before His death told His followers that in a conversation recorded in John’s gospel chapter 14.

It is often quoted at funeral services reminding people of hope.

Read the words slowly and let them saturate you. Jesus says …………..

Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am coming to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am …

John 14:1-4 NLT

We don’t have to wait for death for that hope. We can enjoy it now even in these different times. Might I suggest these words tell you of an eternal perspective that should give you much hope in these very different times

Why not let this hope thrill your heart as it clearly tells us there is a better future.

As someone quoted “In Christ, we know our ending is fantastic because it’s the start of a better beginning”.

If you are feeling low why not reflect on this week’s blog of HOPE!

Stay safe and blessed.
