It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible. Hebrews 11:27.

The book of Hebrews devotes a whole chapter to people who expressed their faith in God no matter what their situation(s) were in life.

Many survived, died, prospered and some like Abraham never reached their final destination in this life, yet they all believed in a God who they could not see.

Many of us have heroes who inspire us and drive us on, I believe during the First World War there was a song called “Keep right on to the end of the road”, but in Hebrews chapter eleven it is this immortal invisible God that spurs them on.

As I think about our situation today what gives me hope and encouragement is to know too that I, like those in Hebrews, believe and  put my faith in this invisible God who physically I may not see yet know HE is real.

Jesus promised to send someone like Himself, and informed us it would be the Holy Spirit who would assist in our life’s journey whatever we would have to face.

The Holy Spirit today offers to be a ……..

Comforter, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener.

HE wants to Empower you, Enlighten you, Encourage you and Equip you.

Moses continued to be strong as if he could see the God that no one can see.  You too can do it, because the Holy Spirit has invested Himself in you, How Great is our God.
